Watt Whisky Ben & Sherry Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 6 års, rich Sherry, dark cherries, soft black pepper, liquorice and marmalade. A blend of 50% Benrinnes 12yo and 50% heavily sherried Glasgow 6yo, we were very pleased with ourselves when we came up with ‘Ben & Sherry’ as a name for this one! Normally Benrinnes is quite a heavy, meaty spirit style but on this occasion we actually used it to soften out the big sherry bomb of a Glasgow. We only used half the cask of Benrinnes for this blended malt – the other half was filled into the empty Chateau Laubade Bas Armagnac cask from our last release.
