Amager Bryghus Double Black Mash Original version 12%

Double Black Mash er en Imperial Stout der er brygget helt uden tilsætning af ekstra sukker eller sirup. De voldsomme 12% alkohol er opnået gennem gæring af ren malt, hvoraf vi har brugt hele 10 forskellige typer. Det giver en kulsort, fyldig øl, som af nogle på kærligste vis er omtalt som “motorolie”.

When we released the first batch of Double Black Mash at the Mikkeller Beer Celebration in 2013, little did we know that this beast of a beer should turn into one of our signature beers. It’s still a mighty Imperial Stout at 12% made with no addition of extra sugars – this is pure malt. It’s a beer that we only produce this one time a year, but this year the Original Version has company from three others: a Bourbon Barrel Aged version, a Cherry Mead Barrel Aged version and a version with a Cedar wood finish. This year also for the first time in the exclusive looking 75 cl “Champagne” bottles. Stocks are low and traditionally sell out fast.
