Glen Moray Distillery 11 års is finished in an Oloroso Sherry cask for 14 months.
Sherry, milk chocolate, orange sherbet and pineapple sweets.
No, we haven’t made a mistake with the dates. This Glen Moray was removed from wood for a short time so legally it is classed as an 11 year old whisky (the age it was when it was first removed from the cask) even though it then went on to mature further in a secondary cask. This is the first Glen Moray we’ve bottled and we really enjoyed the balance of sweetness and sherry.
