Tasting notes for Watt Whisky Invergordon 26 års. Toffee apples, honeycomb, peaches and marzipan.
Another new distillery for us. While we’ve bottled a few older grains now this is the first time we’ve bottled Invergordon. Invergordon was established in the Highlands on the Cromarty Firth in 1959. Owned by Whyte & McKay Ltd it is used as the base for many of their blends and has also recently been launched as a single grain whisky. The mash bill is a combination of maize, malted and unmalted barley and Scottish wheat distilled in 15m column stills.
